“I tasted happiness: it tastes like seafood, fish, beer, wine, machaca, and forever like flour tortillas,” says Omar Millan, who traveled throughout the Mexican state of Baja California in search of the origins of the cuisine style known as Baja Med, as narrated by its cooks, producers, and the history of its migratory flows. The design is inspired by the aesthetics of tourist attractions in cities such as Tijuana, Mexicali, or Ensenada.
